The Washington Capitals have gone from dead last in the NHL to a 3rd-seed playoff berth as the Southeast Division Champions! They will face the Philadelphia Flyers in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Game 1 looks like it will be at Verizon Center on Friday, with Game 2 on Sunday.
Provided my ticket rep(s) did what he(they) were supposed to do, I’ll be at both games. Looks like playoff tickets are already sold out, but I got in under the wire.

Last year our UHL team went (Rockford Icehogs) to a game 7 in the finals at home and man the building was on fire. One of the best hockey games I’ve been to, period.
Playoff hockey > all.
