Yay, Festive!

I just did some decorating in my cubicle. Blinking lights have a way of making me happy.

Sighing at NBC 4

Virginia’s primary on Feb. 12 is likely to be anticlimactic. It falls one week after the Super Tuesday primaries, which are likely to seal the nominations for both parties.

Gee, why don’t we just go ahead and do a little more to perpetuate the fact that “Super Tuesday” is the only primary day that matters. And what is with the news media still always using the old state abbreviations?

Awesome.

Hello again, blogosphere! Man, I hate that word.

Quick post-Thanksgiving update. On Wednesday night, I went to Delaware with my awesome girlfriend and on Thursday we ate awesome food with her awesome family. It was awesome.

On Friday, the Capitals won their first game in several attempts (directly after firing Glen Hanlon and replacing him with Boudreau on Thursday), which was awesome. Saturday I went to my oldest nephew’s birthday party and did some rollerskating and hung out with my family, which was awesome! I’ll miss my folks again though, until Christmas… Not Awesome.

Saturday night I hung out with my good friend Meredith for her birthday when a bunch of us went to the Capitals game. They won again! TWO IN A ROW! AWESOME!

Sunday was a mostly lazy day, which was… you guessed it… awesome.

Yesterday it was back to work, then off to the Capitals game with Joey, where they lost to the Sabres. There are certain home games which just suck because there are so many opposing fans in the crowd. At least most of the Buffalo fans in our section where reasonably non-jerky.

After the game, we went to the gym — which was certainly needed after the feast of food over Thanksgiving. I’m sore today! w00t!

Tonight, Elizabeth will come see me! Huzzah! I will cook something yummy, or we’ll go out someplace. Not sure yet.

Ok, Lunchtime!
