The Great Mustache off of 2007 is a contest and fund raising event for testicular cancer awareness and research. Founded by Phoenix, Arizona residents Jonathan Heinl, Jeff Dempsey and Dana Witt, the organization aims to raise thousands of dollars through a world-wide mustache contest.
The Great Stache Off is open to anyone willing to grow a mustache, starting September 1 and ending on October 31, 2007. To enter the Great Stache Off, contestants/fund raisers must donate $20 to the fund, and shave ALL facial hair on September 1. Contests are to remain clean-shaven (except for their upper lip/mustache area) until October 31, 2007.
